Astringent, carminative, antiemetic

It is used for diarrhea, dysentery, malarial
fevers, pulmonary problems, catarrhal conditions, indigestion,
cough, and digestive weakness. Externally it is used as a tincture
or ointment for infections,
especially fungal infections.
A tea made from the whole plant used as a drink for any
venereal disease.

Fluid extracts: 10-60 drops every 3-4 hours, standard infusion.
