Herbal Medicine Formulas and Recipes

The following lists of herbs may be used in combination to give supplements to the normal diet, or to provide a general tonic. A very good tonic of this type would consist of equal parts of Yellow Dock root, Irish Moss, and Horsetail Grass, made into a tea. This would supply iron, iodine, and calcium. To make the tea, use a heaping tsp. of the herb mixture you choose in a cupful of boiling water. Let stand until cool. Drink one or two cups per day, as needed.
